Valley Roads and Local Culture

Took it easy today after yesterday is mountain adventure. Spent the morning exploring the village, visiting the local market, and chatting with locals. After lunch, rode through a beautiful valley. The road followed a crystal-clear river, with traditional wooden houses dotting the hillsides. Stopped at a cheese farm for a tasting - bought way too much cheese but no regrets. The afternoon brought some unexpected rain. Found shelter under a covered bridge and waited it out while reviewing my maps for tomorrow. The rain cleared just in time for a spectacular rainbow. Ended the day at a family-run guesthouse. Home-cooked dinner with the hosts - stories exchanged over local wine.
